As we start a new year, we also have a new blog editor! Debbie Conner Mascot has taken over managing the CGS blog. We are delighted to have her energy and enthusiasm.
Debbie Conner Mascot’s genealogy adventure started in 1989 when she wanted to make a plaque for her grandfather’s 70th birthday- she started adding names to the format and just hasn’t stopped (and never did make the plaque…). She especially loves telling the stories of her ancestors and has written books about, and for, them. She volunteers for the Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society and works full time in employee benefits, which is her second passion (maybe third, as she also has two amazing young adult children of 22 and 18 years who she is VERY passionate about!). She is very excited to resume blogging, but this time for CGS members and guests. Welcome, Debbie!
