If you missed the storm that erupted earlier this week in the genealogy community about Ancestry’s change in wording to its Terms and Conditions (summarized in “Legal Genealogist” Judy Russell’s recent blog post), there’s now an update. Ancestry has issued another change in wording to clarify that media and stories shared to private online trees are not included in Ancestry’s “perpetual and non-revocable” license to use and share that content.

“I personally would recommend new drafting lawyers,” Judy writes, “but that’s just me.”
