If you are lucky enough to be the recipient of this week’s CGS Jukebox Genealogy newsletter, you are in for another treat! There is a survey to take and stories to read! After that, it’s time for your pen and paper (or, I guess, your keyboard and monitor screen?). Share the stories of your family keepsakes. Do you have a grandfather clock from your grandfather? A shoebox from your aunt? A house? A car? A hat (I grabbed that one because I looked to the side of my desk where my dad’s 2 hats sit).
I have nothing of value (to anyone else). I have nothing to name in an estate. But I’ve got a great share of tiny weird things from here and there in my family. I don’t even know which I will share in the Jukebox. Every time it comes out, I love thinking of what story to tell there. I hope it’s prompting all of you to tell your stories, too!
