“Introduction to Southern U.S. Genealogy,” Feb. 15 & 22

CGS member Evan Wilson leads this two-part introductory course on genealogical research in the U.S. South. Evan is a native of Alabama and current Oakland resident. He’s an active volunteer with CGS, among other things acting as an editor for The California Nugget and serving on the CGS Board as the newly appointed recording secretary. Evan holds a doctorate in English and Medieval Studies and specializes in genetic genealogy, Southern research, migration, and land records.

The class is held online Tuesday evenings, Feb. 15 & 22, at 6 p.m. Register through EventBrite.
