The National Genealogical Society conference, “Our American Mosaic,” is scheduled May 24-28 in Sacramento. CGS is the local host society! We are pleased to tell you about the CGS members who are among the conference speakers:

COLLEEN ROBLEDO GREENE was adopted as an infant into a large, loving family and was in her mid-forties before she took an interest in her biological family. She calls herself a “Latina Leprechaun” and a “double half-Mexican.” She is featured at the Reception and Banquet on Friday, May 27, with a talk titled “Which Family History is My ‘Real’ Family History?” She also gives a lecture on “The Fundamentals for Researching Hispanic Genealogy” on Friday, May 27; and “Getting the Most Out of Mexican Civil Registration Records” on Saturday, May 28.

If you haven’t yet registered, now is the time! Early Bird Discount deadline ends March 31. Complete schedule and registration details are available at the Conference website: https://conference.ngsgenealogy.org/

ALSO: Volunteers wanted! We need lots of help to keep things running smoothly. Even an hour or two makes a difference. Please take a look at the Volunteer Sign-up Sheet and see what slots are open.
