The National Genealogical Society conference, “Our American Mosaic,” is scheduled May 24-28 in Sacramento. CGS is the local host society! We are pleased to tell you about the CGS members who are among the conference speakers.

MELINDA KASHUBA is a professional genealogist specializing in 19th– to 21st-century California records. Her publications include a book about using maps in genealogy. She speaks Friday, May 27, on “Seeking Maps for Context and Analysis in Urban Genealogical Research”; and Saturday, May 28, on “The California Gold Rush and Beyond: Where Did That Miner Go?”
