Open House at the library with docents and historic displays and videos by Los Californianos, an organization founded to preserve the heritage of early Hispanic settlers in Alta California, on Friday and Saturday Oct 24-25, 9 am – 4 pm No registration required.
Los Californianos member, Elizabeth Winslow will share how she created an engaging book to preserve the rich history of her Californio Rancho Era ancestry.

Following the presentations this summer about our Irish, French, and Jewish settlers, hear the last in our series of talks about immigrants who made California their home. Linda Okazaki will present two Case Studies, following the Gonzalez and Nii families who crossed oceans and continents to settle in pre-1906 San Francisco and Placer County, respectively.
